Default SRA 3 Stack Bypass Problems

Hopefully someone can help as Im pulling my hair out with frustration now. When I place SRA3 paper in the bypass tray the machine will only allow me to select 305x457 not SRA3. This ends up causing problems because the edgs of prints are cut off at the 305 width not the 320 (317) width I require. I have tried to put in an irregular size as a quick fix but the machine insists on telling me the sliders are not at the width im typing in when plainly they are!

help!

The bypass tray guides are a little off on our oldest imagerunner now -- I should see about a proper solution but our lease is up in a couple months on that machine anyway; I find I have to set our old canon's bypass guides a little wider and then it allows me to select the correct paper size; then I can put them in tight on the paper stack (without removing the paper or else it will unregister it) and all works fine - ours doesn't recheck guide position once the paper is selected. I just keep adding paper so as not to let the bypass tray runout once it's "trick" registered.

it's fixable you just have to re register the value of tray you can find them on paper inside of front cover unscrue one scrue and input factory value in service mode * 2+8 then * again but not sure whare but look for the values and chage them to factory specification I think its come thing like CST or some thing like that

I do not have the manual for the machine, the values I am being asked for are A4 R, A6 R and A4 when I go inot the CST ADJ menu, there are no other options

Its ok, got it all fixed, had a poke around the service settings and the machine can be used to set the widths itself in service mode...thanks for all the help!
