New copier dilemma: Canon imagePRESS C600i VS Ricoh Pro C5100s

Dear readers,

Our company is currently negotiating with Canon and Ricoh about a 5-year contract for a new copier.

The specifications of the machines are quite similar. Here are some things we find very important:

- SRA3 duplex
- duplex up to 300 g/m2
- mixed media
- decurler unit
- high quality prints

The offers from both suppliers are quite different though. Ricoh is a bit cheaper in printing costs and doesn't charge any costs for installation and training. Canon charges almost € 2000,- for installation and training.

Ricoh's machine has already been on the market for over 2 years and Canon's machine a year or so.

We find it very hard to make a decision between these two options. Are there any people on this forum that could advise us, or do you have any experience with the specifications that we find important regarding these machines?
