I had a pre-printed job I had to add some additional text onto - this job had a grib margin on it and despite programming the copier, driver and software with the new length the sheets were coming out blank (as discussed, was probably just out-side a printable margin). To solve it I just trimmed the grip margin so it was back down to 297mm.

Re. the colours, I'm using the C1.
If you want accurate blues or purple using pagemaker, I would print a color chart directly from the canon 3200 3220 under the printer tab - & look for print pages & select color charts. WIthin pagemaker , go ahead and select a pms color for swop coat or whatever color mode you are using that matches on the color chart you printed out. When you choose blue in many PC programs it comes out looking purple simply because that was good old Microsofts choice for setting the RGB really closer to purple than blue. & RGB & CMYK would give you a different look in many circumstances we have found using our Canon . I USE Indesign CS3 but my dad & uncle still insist on setting things up in PageMaker. I have about broke my dad from the habit but still not fully (Just an added note - really has nothing to do with the issue at hand) ** Bottom line in getting accurate colors -- use your test color chart & set to that color --

Thanks tm, good tip - I know I should really move to indesign, it's just that my requirements are so simple (easily fulfilled by pagemaker) I have no use for extra functions. However, PM does occassionally through up bugs like these so I may do the switch for that reason alone!
