So we have a bit of a decision on our hands. I work for a liquor distributor in the Midwest USA. We currently have a Canon IRC 3200 which is way to small and can not handle the jobs we are putting through it.

We normally only print on cardstock between around 250-300gsm. and we we need to be able to duplex as well. The three machines that we are deciding between are the Konica Minolta Bizhub Pro C6501, Canon Imagepress C6000, or the Toshiba 6530c. I really dont know a bunch about the Toshiba because it is such a new product. If anyone can give me insite to this machine i would appreciate it. My first impressions is it is an office machine and not a production printer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take a look at the Oce CS655 which is a Konica Minolta engine, you will be pleased with this with out breaking the bank and is on another level than the office use Canon 3200.

Yeah I think it is a nice looking machine, but we are a little to far along in the process to be looking at another printer. I really need to have a decision within the next two weeks. do you know alot about the Toshiba? I am really leaning towards the Konica Minolta based on the price. It is less than half of the 6000.

I can only say that from talking with a service tech of both that he did not like the Toshiba very much. Good luck.

do you have an idea of price on the OCE? I think we are looking at around 65,000 for the Konica

45,000 for the engine and Saddle, Folder, Punching, Stacking unit with a built in Fiery Rip.
