Imagerunner C5180 OCR capabilities

With this new machine, I scanned in a document and saved as a PDF on a network folder. When I opened the document in acrobat and used the keyword search, it wouldn't recognize some of the words. For the OCR feature, can someone recommend what I would need to do for the best results? My goal is to be able to search on every word, but I realize that 100% isn't possible. However, I would like to get as close to it as possible. FYI, I'm sure I can change the font type of the original document that's being scanned if that would help. Also, the entire document is just words, no pictures at all.

The OCR capability of the scanner depends on the scanned original. sometimes, if the words or letters are skewed, the acrobat can not recognized it. Specially those letters that are manually enlarge or reduced to make design.
