Default Canon ImagePRESS C1 irregular size duplex printing problem

I have an ImagePRESS C1 and I'm having problems printing double sided using an irregular size from the stack bypass. The enginner, at present, has no answer. Can anyone help me.

Default Canon ImagePRESS C1 irregular size duplex printing problem

Canon have now got back to me and this problem seems to have been unknown to them, a report is going to be sent to the boffins in Japan so hopefully a solution will appear in future software updates. Apart from that I am delighted with the C1, not many machines are capable of printing onto 400gsm stock.

We have the same problem with dublex printing (irregular size) and our enginner here (Greece) has no answer for that. Please if you have any answer post it.
Question.
How you print 400 gsm paper?

The reason you cant duples irregular size is because your not supposed to. The C1 has a flaw where you can select two sided when pulling from the bypass but in all reality your not supposed to. You can only duplex from the cassette drawers and paper deck. The imagerunner 3200 series and 5180 have the same issue.

The printers that are capable of printing 400 gsm FX, KM , HP indigo, and Xeikon.

The issue in printing back to back can be minimize if you can cut your paper as exact as Possible. Imagepress C1 does not support printing back to back for irregular sizes of paper.
