Hello everyone. We currently use a third party for off-set printing of temporary tattoos. The printing production is done in the same way it's been done for the past 30 years or so. I wonder if anyone knew of any innovations, maybe with digital printing, which could help create a smaller, more affordable and manageable temp tattoo solution for a small business? I'm aware of lower quality solutions such as laser jet paper but they're not close to the quality and safety from off-set.

(I believe) they currently print a glue &vegetable ink mix onto a release paper substrate. As far as I can work out, the sticking point for scaling down is the ability to print using that thick, bespoke ink. But I'm certainly no expert. Another restriction of the current method is having to print in bulk rather than smaller runs.

Any advice or starting points very gratefully received, I'd love to cobble together a clever little solution.

    thanks in advance
    A x
