    Guys, look at this add:
    https://www.roepa.com/en/offers/280616

How it is possible to allow this SM to be in such bad shape?
Tons of dirt everywhere around, ink on gears and everywhere else.
It looks like poorly maintained 30+ years old press, not as 8 years old press with only 18mln impressions.

    Really poor press...

Because of what they were printing, did you noticed the pics with control console?

Anyways that's not a bad condition, may be they were running too much powder and had no time to clean up the mess.

In my opinion it is pretty bad to see a machine in that condition that has only 18 million impressions on it. I have worked on a few SM52 presses with well over 200 million that dont look that bad. As to how that happens, it starts with management. Time to do preventative maintenance and cleaning needs to be given to the press operators. Also, there is no sense of ownership given to the pressman. Operators need to feel like it is their machine and usually they will take care of it like they take care of their car. If not, they need to look for another job. Anilcolor is great machine and likely because of the condition it can be had at at good price. Most of what I see in the pictures is cosmetic and can be cleaned up pretty easily.

I agree with you exheidmech, usually its the management that is responsible for this, because they always want to see the press running and compromise on preventive maintenance and cleaning. It results in much longer down times in repair or waiting for parts to arrive than a down time for preventive maintenance and cleaning, and it happens when you have to meet a tight dead line.

I Expect The Management/Salesmen Have The Latest Cars And They Cleaned And Serviced As The Manufacturers Spec, They Never Think That Looking After The Equipment That Pays For All That Is Even Important!

If this press is always running... there should be much more on it's counter than 18 million impressions. Isn't it ?
