Ryobi 524 plate gripper

Hi.

I work in pre-press at an offset print shop.

Does anybody know what the plate gripper size is on a Ryobi 524?

The tech guys who set up my imposition program first set it to 23mm. But then later corrected it to 18mm. Is this right?

I'm just asking cause the plate has got a "board edge" at approx. 21-22mm when it comes out of the machine after printing. Isn't this the lenght of the gripper?

Does the pressman have the press manual? It should be listed in there. Do you have any pre ruled masking sheets that you can measure the plate bend and gripper edge?

 

I figured it out, it's 18mm if anyone else would like to know.
