Heidelberg Offset Press Print Verification?

Hi there, first of all thanks for looking,

Secondly i know this isn't what this forum is for, but i wonder if some could give me a hand and verify designs for me?

I am having some business cards done and would like them verified but the printer charges a ridiculous amount of money for a pre-print check and i am only purchasing a short run.

Bellow are the printers requirements, and attached are my design files.

The doubts i had was weather the image was formated in CKMY correctly and if the phone number and email font was to fin to show up?

Any help appreciated, Thanks

* 1mm bleeding (3mm for posters, 5mm for magazines/brochures).
* minimum of 3mm edge when placing important data, such as email addresses, telephon, dates etc., (5mm for posters, 7mm for magazines/brochures!).
* 300dpi (240dpi for poster only)
* Colour code = CMYK

Default Not quite right...

a couple of things you may wish to address before you send this to print.

You've created a Pshop file with rasterized text..ie your text is no longer vector and will print with pixellated edges as opposed to smooth edges. see attached. As for correct colour model its fine

The size is way too big and is at 72ppi - when resized the resolution comes up to around 300ppi which is OK for images but not good for text, which typically needs to be output at around 2540ppi and up, dependent on the output device.

Ideally this ought to have been created in a page layout package (InDesign/QXP) and PDF'd for best results.

Of course if your quality expectations are lower you might get away with it as is. Especially if you go digital as opposed to litho (digital masks a lot of ppi deficiencies).

If want more info pm me
