Hi folks. I´ve been offered to buy a 1995/96 Oliver Sakurai 472 EDII. I´d like anyone who has run this particular press to give me his opinion.

The press is not installed, so I can´t perfom a previous inspection. (Altough is warranted once installed).
    So, my doubts are:
Is a stable (running) machine?. I mean, it stands on register, color and ink/water balance all shift long or is a high maintenance machine on this aspects?

Quality of printing: Does "draw a sharp point"? Runs solids w.o. streaks?
Does it go well to print sometimes light cardboard for packaging and still doing good quality brochures?

Mechanic and electronic reliability: PQC are good, robust? Electrical and electronic panels go well with the years or they tend to crash? Do the press need maintenance too often?
Dampening system is of the "tricky" kind or reliable?

I´ll appreciate any info about this press. My sensation is that is a good press, but since I can´t see any of then working, and my money is very tight, i don´t want to miss the shot and buy a problematic press..

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

    Ale
