Hi friends........
This is Sonu Kukreja...
Can u plz tell me the way or the procedure to estimate the quantity of ink required to print Color Processing or Pantone Color Processing.
And which are those factors on which this quantity depends......and how we can save ink......

Your ink supplier will have figures but its only an estimate.

There are many other factors that come in to play when using the ink which make it impossible to measure.

Is there any standard formula to estimate the quantity of ink, that can help me to estimate the cost of printing.
And how does the temperature affect the quantity of ink required to print the document. And does the change in temperature affect the quality of the product to print and does the gsm of the paper also affect the quantity of ink.

i got the formula by following the link mentioned by you.......
but i have some confusion in that formula.....what is waste in this.....is this wastage of pager or spoilage ......is this percentage or a fix value........
what does impression includes.......impression for a single color or all the colors.........suppose i have to print 1000 sheets in 4 color process.....will it include impressions for all the 4 colors or .......for only single color......and one more thing.....from where do we get the usage factor.....does the ink supplier tells us about it......or any thing else........

(sq in coverage for each color x impressions x waste / usage factor)

(U.V. Ink) -
