I am experiencing intermittent Error Code E-2 issues with my 3302. Sometime upon start up, other times while running and on impression. By trial and error, I have found I can have come success getting the press to start again by activating the form rollers up and down. Seems to me a vacuum issue but I have reasonable pressure in my compressor. I haven't tested line pressure to solenoids or valves as I have no knowlege as to the correct pressure. I may be barking up the wrong tree entirely. Can anyone help?

test The switch ls21-25 in second unit E-2
    USE the operating lever.
See if the switch are dirty, loose, or faulty.
use the schematic diagram for Test use DMM
    back to me any doubt

    The 3302HA has no levers.

I run a 3304HA, and the E-2 code on my machine is for one of the air valves for the autoplate loaders. Never seen that happen while running on impression though. The only time I get it is if I accidentally interrupt the plate loading sequence.

I suspect I have a more serious problem. It mostly occurs after a shut down for whatever reason. The press won't restart after the alarm. If I depress the the start button again, I get the error. Through trial & error I may get the press to start by turning the master power off/on, then attempting a start. Might have to do that a dozen times. . . depending on who knows what.

However you must test +5V from power source to the 1) control motor board
    2) CPU board.3) check the cable fro the motor control board al CPU for open, broker, or dirty contacts.
if they are ok so go to
    4) test the timing switchs.
If you have some schematic diagram for you machine see in the parts location
