    Powder Spray Problem

I have a Ryobi 500K with the standard powder attachment.

I was getting all of my powder at the first nozzle and almost none and the second and third. After taking apart and clearing a blockage in the tube I looked at the needle valves at the back of the spray nozzles. They have a scoop cut out that, I guess, feeds the powder to the nozzle.

So, my question is this - What is the best direction for the scoop to be facing? When I first took it apart it seemed there was no apparent pattern. Is this correct? They are set with a set screw so the must have been intentionally set that way, but the last guy who maintained this machine last was not that bright. So, I'm just not sure.

    Any ideas?

We run all of them towards the front of the press (delivery end) This is the way they came from the factory. Hope this helps
