    Dear friends

we had a paper jam between two cylinders . The impression is on
kindly suggest us a method to remove it. We tried the following options

    1. Put water in the paper, and tried to remove it. We could not do it.

    2. Cut the blankets. We could not get it out.

    Kindly give your suggestions
    thanks

On a Japanies press you should be able to release the blanet cylinder so it can turn and get it out - free the jam.
After that you must put the cylinder exactly back in the right place - this is a job a for a proffesional engineer , not the printer - do not save on this - as it could cost you much more if not done right.
Call a proffesional machanical engineer (for presses) and let him sort this out for you.
    good luck

Thank you sir, I called a Engineer . He is now sorting the issue, he could not fiqure out the way, since the paper jammed tight so that we could not move the machine. he tried to remove the bush from the blanket cylinder, but since the machine is loaded we could not remove it . He says the only option is to take the jammed paper manually to release the cylinder. kindly advice, thanks

Keep in mind I do not know your press, but here is what we do. We have Didde webs and when there is a bad wrap up, you cannot inch the press and impression is locked on. We disconnect the turnbuckles on both sides of the eccentrics which engage impression. With a soft brass rod and hammer we hit the eccentrics closest to the inside (if you hit it on the end, ya break em). Do NOT hit them hard! You have to do this on both sides. This manually releases impression. You can then jog the machine. I can't stress enough it has to be done carefully. Best of luck to you!
