Hey all... I am looking for a 1 color offset press or duplicator. Does anyone know of any manufactures that still make these for sale??? Found a nice used one but was scared to buy it. Not sure if replacement parts or support is still around.
Thanks,
saint.

Hello,
You had a post about ryobi 2 color press doubling. It sounded like you had good feedback from other members. Did you solve your problem? You said that you replaced grippers. I would really check the settings you have on both gripper bars. They have double face impression cylinders I assume. I would tap a little ink on one impression gripper to mark sheets so you can identify the problem gripper bar or cylinder. On the Akiyama press that I run we set the grippers with a .004 pre load. I would check your manual so you can set them to specs. I'm thinking the sheet is pulling out of the grippers slightly under impression. Someone did mention to back off impression squeeze which should tell you something also. Always try different stock which I'm sure you did. Even different stock of the same weight. Maybe stock came off 2 rolls from paper house. They usually use 3 rolls to sheet the stock.
Good Luck,
I hope you already solved it.
