I have an issue where the solenoid that engages the impression cylinder (from what I can tell that is what this does) that it is constantly tripping on and off. I took a video so you all can see what I am seeing it doing. At the time of this video, the main lever is not engaged and paper is not feeding through the press. I just turned the press on with no vacuum on. The computer panel is all red lights.

I am really hoping someone else has experienced this. My only guess is the sensor that monitors paper being fed may be the sensor that sends the signal to engage this, but I am not sure. I am guessing the issue is either a sensor is bad, dirty or the solenoid is bad.

I appreciate any help with this!

    Hi franco72,

I got this solved a while ago and forgot to post the fix, but you are spot on. The root cause was a dirty sensor in the feed area that was randomly kicking off the impression cylinder. Thanks for the reply
