Finally got my QM46-2 to a place where I can start to run something and now I'm having an issue which I can't find any info on.

The air compressor fires up as normal and pressure builds as normal, when the machine is switched on, but after running around 100 sheets, the compressor kicks back in and the machine comes to a total stop while it builds up pressure again. It's a pain because it just stops dead when printing something - any ideas please? Is this supposed to happen? I'm guessing not, but I've never run one of these before, I've always used Ryobi's and AB Dicks.....

I would say one of the air rams are leaking! Remove the non-operator side cover. Inside your door there should be a short list of special functions, if not get the operators manual. You can activate each air ram from the panell or even at the ram itself! On the black switch that is mounted on the rams is a Green button (it is flush) using an allen wrench, small screwdriver, pen or somthing push on the green button and hold it. This will turn on the air ram and allow you to see if there is a major air leak!

Thanks STW once again, you indeed are correct! It's the plate inking roller ram (SF 02) which is leaking, so I've just gotta figure out now how to stop it, unless I can't and it's just a new ram?

It's one of the valves that sit on top of the ram that is leaking, changed it for one that is rarely used on my press, the blanket washup ram, so all is now sorted.. Thanks for your help folks.
