    Hamada H234A plate loading problem

Hi everyone, kindly assist me with plate mounting for Hamada 234a. I bought this two color press at a printing shop auction so i have no previous information on this press. The EPS system seem not working properly. Putting the EPS in mount position and pressing the start button, the plate cylinder moves two full revolutions before coming to a skipped stop at the plate loading position, at this point if i load the plate and press the EPS start button again nothing moves at all the plate just hangs there.
Secondly, assuming the EPS is somehow not working well, is it possible to mount the plate on the plate cylinder manually?
Please help with any helpful suggestion. Thank you

Yes just use the manual button (has the hand on it) and you can mount the plate manually. This will keep the press in manual mode. These presses have too many automatic and safety auto stop features for a small offset press if you ask me.

There is a whole procedure for manual plate mounting not just pressing the manual button. Leave a request if you need the document.

Yes correct. Just pressing the hand button gets you in manual mode. The rest of the plate mounting must be done by operator. I prefer to have control to mount/hang plates. Unless it's a nice Komori with APC. :D
