    Hello Everyone

I've been offered a GTO-52-2(P) perfecter machine which is in a good working order.
However I've been advised against buying a perfecter GTO.

I don't need to print on both sides, Can I just use it without deploying the perfecter.
Or would it still be problematic??

If, as you say, the machine is in good working condition now..and the price is right and suits your needs you should have no worries. That being said, if you never clean or grease the pincer bar...Yes it will be problematic. But really, that holds true throughout the machine, yes? Just keep in mind, if proper care is not taken both in regular maintenance and conversion to and from perfecting, the outcome will be very expensive. If the machine is equipped with DDS, water pan overflows are a bit more likely to happen if, again, care is not taken to keep the system clean and in order. This has led to washing out the followers on the control segments of the pincer bar.
