I am having trouble with the sheet sticking to the blanket on the second head of a Hamada C248. I don't think the chain delivery grippers are grabbing enough of the sheet when the paper exchanges between the impression cylinder and the chain delivery. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Wille check the cam followers on each gripper bar are set correctly to open enough to grab the sheet. This is the most common thing that can seem like bad timing. See if you can see which gripper bar is at the cyl and mark it (with sharpie or whiteout) to see if it's the same bar the next time.

If it is the delivery timing and it is like the older 600-800 series presses there's 3 allen bolts on the NOP side delivery sprocket inside the chain delivery. This will allow you a small move in and out to fine tune the sheet timing. Not 100% sure the C248 is the same. Maybe someone can confirm that for you. I'm not back at work till monday and can check then.

Thank you FFR428. The CD timing is the same on the 248 and that was the problem. I now have a full grip and am up and running. I appreciate your help.
