First off you know your problem begins with your crappy poly plates. Now that being said you need a 13mm socket with at least a 3" ext on it open your back gate up look at the op side of your blanket cylinder inch it around till you see a nut with a corkscrew like thing on the top of it and tighten it but not to much or you won't be able to make vertical adjustments. You say its every other sheet?? how are your impression cylinder grippers? how about your transfer drum grippers?? lots of variables that can make you go off registration

Hi thanks for your reply, been there done that with vertical adjust. screw. It worked out to be the impression cylinder, each set of gripper are controlled by a bearing on a shaft that rolls and operates on a set cam. These bearings are not roller bearings, They just look like fat washers, the washer seemed to be loose so I tightened them after oiling.... loose was north/south east/west not horizontal and that fixed the problem.

After being a pressman for 30 years running a lot of different presses and duplicators the 9985 is a solid machine. poly plates do the job (I was very surprised). I do alot of 4/4 produced on a 2 color duplicator. you just have to loosen her and pull here,..... Thanks very much.

I love my 9985 and wouldn't trade it for anything (been printing for 6 years now). I get alot of people that either love it or hate it nothing in between haha. Glad that it wasn't something major just keep in mind to oil that next time your lube light comes on. The number one thing i tell my customers is preventative maintenance goes a long long ways!
